Without mods you can only find a parkour park to the east, and locations & secrets.

For the full adventure (story and characters) you need to setup a server that runs Denizen (and brewery).

Exclamation  Be aware that:

Some of the jokes contain sexual references, drinking and humor of extremely bad taste.

If you are setting up both minecraft and a server the first time,

be prepared to spend an evening with it.

Idea  You can download the package from here:
Boozequest 1.0

read full instructions below

CLIENT:

Install minecraft. Set a launch profile for 1.10.2

I recommend downloading Sonic Ether's Unbelievable Shaders v1.10.2

It'll take some effort to install but your booze experience will be pimped.

A short guide for shader install:

launch 1.10.2 minecraft once. Download 1.10.2 optifine and double click it to install

http://shadersmods.com/optifine-hd-mod/

then download this (1.10.2) to your ...\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\shaders

http://shadersmods.com/sonic-ethers-unbe...aders-mod/

using resource packs is optional.

copy resource packs into your resource packs folder ->

%appdata%\.minecraft -> resourcepacks

You will get booze related sounds.

80's pack is only recommended for alternative game mode.

Join the host by writing the host ip from LAN or virtual LAN such as hamachi.

Check the guide folder if you wish to see where's what in the world.

HOST (Windows):

* Step 1:

Set up the spigot server, follow these tutorials and don't skip steps.

take your time and have something nice to drink close by.

I recommend the versions displayed. This adventure works with 1.10 (1.10.2),

spigot

https://www.spigotmc.org/wiki/spigot-installation/

https://www.spigotmc.org/wiki/buildtools/

Same in short:

install GIT (with default install options)

create an empty folder, download buildtools.jar into the folder.

with right mouse click on the empty space and run git bash here.

copy paste the line 'java -jar BuildTools.jar --rev 1.10' and press enter.

Now wait, it should take a while.

if you got a spigot.jar as an outcome,

you can uninstall GIT, you dont need it anymore.

Unpack the host-rar to your desktop or wherever and copy this spigot.jar to the root.

Boozequest-host.rar has the following plugins & plugin configs:

Brewery (tested with 1.4.4)

https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/brewery.3082/

Citizens

Denizen (tested with 0.9.8)

https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/denizen.21039/

MuddersMilk (this is optional, allows you to drink milk)

https://bukkit.org/threads/fun-muddersmi...ilk.17015/

* Step 2:

You need Java to run the server (tested with Version 8)

https://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Remember that java is a security risk and after you're done with playing the adventure

and you don't use java for anything, uninstall it.

if you change the destination folder, you need to change it in RUN_SPIGOT.bat.

You might need to change it anyway so check where the java is installed.

open the 'run spigot.bat' in txt editor and change the location for java.

also change the 'spigot-1.10.2.jar' if it doesn't match your file name.

* Step 3:

Run the run_spigot.bat

You will get an eula error on first run.

open eula.txt and read what it says.

open server.properties with a text editor and add your host id

if you are using hamachi etc. put your hamachi id.

Tips:

as a server always stop the server with command stop.

if you close (kill) the window, the world is not saved and it can even damage the files.

When you do a full world reset, delete the Boozemovie (+_nether) (+_the_end) folders

and copy the original folders in place (the original world files).

Warning! If you are playing alternative, do not replace the folders!

The world was modified for alternative via scripts.

Cheers,

Sorry, I found 2 minor bugs for the beginning, I'm now uploading a new file to replace the old one. But those who already downloaded, when you run the server you have to op yourself as a player from server 'op yourname'.
Also run this command in the chat window /ex flag global SPORTSHASSTARTED:false

the flag lead to lucy and maybe some other characters just saying slap!
and I added landlord op players, as its needed to run some of the plugin commands.

If you find the beginning a bit too offbeat, it basicly starts with dark comedy impro, but then slowly turns into something more mild and structural.
The alternative ch3 again is purely satire.
Best parts for coop is the film sidequest and alternative mode.
