Im working on a prison map that i want to be huge and i also want it to be for top 5 Minecraft maps when they do prison and insane asylum again so here are the screenshots of it so far. this is if you rather have the pics downloaded http://www.mediafire.com/?5bdebemk1kkvxqv
If you want to place top 5 there are a few things you need to cover. Firstly, you need to make it huge. As cliche as it sounds, bigger is better, and especially when it comes to prisons. Second, you need to do it in a way that no one has. Perhaps make it an abnormal prison. Such as torture chambers, hidden pasages, towers, and fire rooms. The third thing is redstone. Try to stay away from regular doors and use more piston doors. A lot of work goes in to a top 5 map. It isn't something you will do over night, or even in a week or two.

Your prison should be larger. Although the design of the structure looks nice you need to have more components. If it looks like one small building it won't come across as so impressive. Try to make it big an have tons of detail. Your prison should be unique. It should look very original. Mine is unique in that it is extremely realistic and detailed. Your prison looks a lot like a psychiatric prison. Build on that! Create nice rooms with a bed, a desk, maybe a flower pot. Use the look towards your advantage. It looks great but you need to add to it. Good luck!

I think having a room that looks like an insane tinkerer was inside and on that you could add a secret tunnel because that would be awesome. hope it all goes well
It has to be big.A lot of redstone put into it,and can be a mixed map (I like to call it)some of the map can be parkour and the another part combat and so on.
