147456 Chunks of Desert and Dungeons and a large 256 chunk wide boarder around the desert map
the reason for its size is so the server doesnt need to work hard expanding the map when the servers processing is needed processing other things.
on a lot of servers with fly enabled grievers fly in 1 direction at maxnspeed, once they get to the edge of the map the server needs to work hardnexpanding the map which causes lag after a few minutes of themnpassing the boarder, by having a large pre-expanded map it may take grievers anvery long time to get to the edge so they may quit before they get there and ifnyour using a map boarder which can stop the map from expanding its still good to have a large map so you have a large area to explore andnit doest make players feel like the server is limiting where they canngo because I dough normal players will ever see the edge of a large map.

I made a layered map with a variety of tree sizes! I used Worldpainter and MCedit to craft this landscape. The trees below the canopy are from a tree schematic pack by lentebriesje. I used a schematic of an epic forest someone made a while back for the main stand of huge trees. I used a cleaned up schematic of a mega tree from another map i found a while back for the MEGA trees, which i made by layering multiple trees together.
I also hid a little book in the map where i tried out writing a small dramatic story thing. Enjoy

Update: Now with kitchen, some interior decorations and I started to build the second floor of the house!

Welcome to my second Creative Map. This time it's a large modern house in the desert. It's not completed, `cause I'm too lazy to complete it :-D

The house got a swimming pool room, a private cinema, a chill lounge, a fountain in the house and nobody has to take the stairs, because I have a railroad track in front of the house and a minecart lift in the house. The natural invironment is a great realistic desert (made with a mod) with view on a big forest. If you want to relax during building, I can recommend the nice river/lake in the forest with a nice jetty an some beach chairs.

I hope you have fun and maybe you finish the building.

I just uploaded this world to have a map. I am working on creating a large city, and just having fun with creating buildings etc...
If you do download I hope you have as much fun as I do, and maybe you can find all the little details I have included.

Still having fun and still building this map. I doubt any of you actually follow this map, but if you do then enjoy yourself just like I have making the map this far!

Well.. This map is slowly becoming more and more about just playing around and seeing what I can create now I finished the giant spire to the east of the main floating island complex. It was actually pretty fun to make. Used a combination of lava the dousing it with water to make cobblestone and covering the thing in a layer of stone and dirt and planted trees and the like. Made a waterfall that runs down into one of the main rivers in my map. The spire thing is hollow inside for the most part so it might make a cool hideout or something but I'd rather just have it as something slightly natural for now.
