I made something out of this world. Literally. This time, it's the entire planet of Mars, terraformed, so that players could find food in an exotic landscape, with lone volcanoes, craters and deep valleys. Deserts are made out of red sand, because yellow sand couldn't exist on Mars.

1.5 Update: Rivers with oxbow lakes (might flood some areas), and mesa terrain

This is an another real-world map i made. This time, it's a winter-themed map of the main islands of Japan (not included Okinawa Islands). The frost-line follows the climate of Japan, so you won't find any snow in southern Japan, even though it's winter. Because trees won't generate on snow-covered grass, i added custom trees by Lentebriesje instead. The spawn point is in Tokyo, but there are no structures, because you, or the server will decide to build them. It includes everything you'll need for survival.

Compatible with Minecraft version 1.8 to 1.9

NOTE: Updated to the full version 1.1. Plains are now considered "plains", instead of forest-like areas. Flowers and grass now grows in frost-free areas.

This is a scaled map of New Zealand, with the two main islands: North and South. You spawn in the supposed area of Wellington, which is close to the center of the both islands.

Update 3.1.1: Removed custom trees and layers.

It has all of the ores that exists in Minecraft, and that means it's great for multiplayer survival servers.

This is a scale map of the Korean Peninsula, which includes the entire South and North Korea, and also parts of Russia, China and Japan.

I made this using WorldPainter and DEMs of the peninsula.

The red line, made out of red stained clay, is the approximate location of the North Korean border, also known as "the Military Demarcation Line", which divides the peninsula into North and South Korea. This helps when roleplaying on a multiplayer server, where players can stay on the North or the South Korean side, or to create dedicated factions.

Update 3: Ocean Monuments no longer generate alongside the coast of Korea. Fixed it by changing the world type of the map.

Map Size: 7100x12300 blocks large

The spawnpoint is located in Athens, the capital of Greece. It's explorable, and it makes an excellent map for the Greek servers, or the Greek themed ones. The highest point Mt. Olympus is set at 255 blocks tall. Because the Greek border isn't a perfect square compared to the world border, parts of Turkey, Bulgaria, Macedonia and over 50% of Albania's area, is included in this map. Try exploring the Aegean Sea, and find the scattered Greek islands. Getting somewhere is just as hard as in real life...
The map is populated by Vanilla Minecraft when explored, which is why trees and plants are not visible on the world map from the site.

This is the supercontinent Pangea, that existed 200 million years ago on Earth. It's remade in Minecraft as a huge (ca. 20000x20000 blocks) SMP map. The terrain is made in World Machine. It contains all 1.7/1.8 biomes, except for Mushroom Island, and they're populated in Vanilla Minecraft, instead of WorldPainter. WorldPainter is used on this map as a port for the terrain and to paint the biomes.

Alternative to White Screen of Death map:
I attempted to make a custom terrain map of Australia, but for some reason, it failed. This is an area of northern Ethiopia, consisting of the Ethiopian Highlands and the Danakil Desert. The volcanic rock in the Danakil Desert is substituted by netherrack. Don't make an underground shelter in the Depression, check your Y-coordinates!

Made the terrain in World Machine Basic, this is the first WM-generated Minecraft Terrain World i uploaded here. It's only 512x512 blocks large, but it uses the entire height range! (0-255 blocks) The lower part of the mountain consists of a coniferous forest, and transits to an alpine tundra at the tree line. The world is scaled 1:1 to the original World Machine terrain.
