where's that lever to start? hidden?!

you can't play it. It is just a single player world. Just start manually. (if you are just stuck in one spot then get a different map, can't help you there)

put it in your saves file. a seed is just a natural world, it has nothing mae by players, and this isn't a server. You can only play if you have friends or make a server.

obout the installing your world. if you go to %appdata% in the surch of your computer there will be roming. open it and then open .minecraft/saves and put that off to the side. then open the zip and put the open folder in saves
