This map is dominated by a vast desert. The spawn is located in the real world Iraq, where the two iconic rivers of Tigris and Euphrates is unified into Shatt al-Arab. It also features swamps in the middle of the desert. In the northern part of the map, the deserts transits into plains and forests. The map extends from the Persian Gulf in the south, to the Caspian Sea in the north-east, to Armenia at the center north. This is a good map for recreating the ancient civilisations of Babylon and the Sumer civilization 5,000 years ago. This map is also good for survival multiplayer maps, where the rivers would be the only source of water in the desert.

Oh, sure, now that I have finished Babylon you upload this...Honestly, very, very cool. I may tinker with it too.You can use MCEdit to place your map on mine. I've also update the map with more realistic surface and climates. However, it was quite difficult making the semi-arid climate at the Persian plateau.
Thanks, but I am also building parts of Israel and Egypt. I am an avid MCEdit user. I'll have to tinker with your offer too.

It's "supposed" to be big. This area is equivalent to about 1 million square kilometres in real life.
